An affiliation programme is a contractual partnership between a site initiating the programme and a collection of partner sites which are presented as conveyors of business, traffic, visibility.

Under this contract, the affiliated sites propose in their pages visual elements, advertisements, text links or even part of the data base of the affiliating party. These elements will propose a link towards the affiliating site and thus will create for it reputation, traffic and, if the visit is productive, transformation.

In return, the site pays a commission on the objectives laid down in the contract (actual sales, commercial contacts generated, subscriptions to a newsletter…).

This system is particularly interesting for business sites because the affiliated site can, through an RSS flow in particular, display the products of the affiliating site, while preserving its own graphic charter
